Here are a few of my favorites from the last month:
February Theme: Follow the spark! āØLet's keep this monthās theme simple, playful, and delightfully low-pressure (it's still Winter, after all). Let's ignore the five-year plan and the āI should be doing something productiveā voice. Instead, listen to that quiet (or not-so-subtle) tug of curiosity! You know what Iām talking about. Itās the idea that pops into your head at inconvenient times, or that place youāve walked by a thousand times but are always too busy getting somewhere else to actually go inside. It's the stuff you keep telling yourself, āIāll get to itā. What if you made this the month you actually do just one of those things? Whatās that workshop, place, topic, or experience that makes you think, āOoh⦠that looks interesting.ā Thatās the spark. This month, your only invitation is to notice it and say the tiniest āyesā, in the most fun and playful way. Ideas for your explorations (100% optional, always):
It doesnāt have to be big to count! Remember, An adventure counts if it gives you that little flicker of excitement and anticipation, that feeling that something interesting is about to happen. Thatās it. No other rules. Go solo or invite someone along for the ride. There are no wrong answers here! This is about play, not improving yourself. Thereās no productivity here. Instead, let curiosity lead rather than efficiency. šļø Our Next Gathering is Scheduled!Donāt miss our next Zoom call! This is where we gather to swap stories, laugh about what surprised us in our adventures, and hear what sparks other people are following. No pressure to shareālistening totally counts. Date: Thursday, February 26th Time: 4 PM Pacific / 7 PM Eastern If you feel like sharing your recent adventures, Iād love to hear what youāre exploring or whatās currently lighting up your curiosity. Until next time, adventure on, my friend! Cheers, Annie |

If you knew how many different times Iāve started, deleted, and restarted this email, youād probably think Iām losing it! (Maybe I am!) š While I have much to share, finding the words is proving to be more difficult than usual. In the interest of conserving time and energy on both our parts, Iāll do my level best to keep this concise. The new beginning that was ushered in with the Year of the Fire Horse has been shaking things up in more unexpected (and beautiful) ways! Plot Twist: I accepted...
Damn, Iāve been struggling to sit down and put words on the page lately. Even this supposedly simple email has felt like a monumental task. Not because I donāt want to write, but because thereās so much happening! Much of it is still playing out, and I donāt quite have the words for it all just yet. Suffice it to say that pretty much every area of my life is getting a complete fucking overhaul right now. š„ Though Iāve never really followed Chinese astrology, what I am familiar with feels...
Hi friend, I canāt believe this is finally here after so many months of talking about it, recording, and getting all the behind-the-scenes stuff ready! The Wandering Weirdly podcast is officially live! (Itās also on YouTube.) Iāll share more about the podcast in just a moment. First, hereās whatās in this email: Community gatherings for the Everyday Adventure Experiment and Explorerās Circle Current explorations: UK travel planning, training for a 96-mile trek, the power of collective...
